It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing on of Elijah Karanja Muiruri on 12/24/2017. He is the beloved father of Rachel Njenga, Elisha Karanja, Hosea Karanja, Tabitha Karanja, all of USA (Lowell, MA) in addition to other brothers and sisters in Kenya.
He passed away after a short illness at his home in Ngarariga, Limuru early Sunday morning.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at 32 Mountain View, Dracut, MA 01826 from 6 pm to 8 pm through Saturday, Dec 30th, 2017.
A memorial service in honor of our departed dad will be held on Sunday, Dec. 31st, 2017 at 3 pm at Ushindi Presbyterian Church, 450 Chelmsford St, Lowell, MA 01851.

The late Elijah Karanja was a regular visitor to the US to see his children and grandchildren.
He’s a close friend of many and worshipped at St. Stephen’s Church Lowell,MA even as he visited several others.
His remains will be buried on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at the church compound of Murengeti Holy Ghost Church of East Africa, Limuru, Kenya.
Some family members will be leaving within the week for the funeral.
