A Kenyan woman Mary Kinuthia breathed her last in Saudi Arabia where she had been working after a short illness.

News of Mary’s death spread last weekend as Kenyans in Saudi Arabia tried to locate his family.

Sources say that Mary complained of acute stomach pain while and was rushed to hospital by a Kenyan friend who lived close to her place and they worked for the same company.

But she was turned away at the hospital for lacking crucial documents as required by Saudi law.

Left with no choice, she was taken back to her residence where she died shortly after.

After news of her death circulating on Facebook with Kenyans in Saudi asking her relatives to contact them, her family has finally been traced.

She was born in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County. Her aunt who lives in Nakuru said that they tried calling her number recently but it would not go through.

It is then that news of her death emerged putting an end to questions on her status.

Her family says reports from her friends in Saudi cite that Mary died out of negligence by doctors who refused to treat her because she did not have an identity card.

Her family is working on having her body transported back to Kenya for burial.
