It has been a puzzle for detectives investigating the whereabout of four men who disappeared mysteriously from Kitengela almost two weeks ago.

Now, the body of one of the men, Elijah Obuong has been found in a morgue located in Murang’a.

Obuong’s younger brother Michael Amollo identified the body on Thursday. His body was discovered by sand harvesters lying along the banks of River Mukunga in Murang’a.

Obuong was in the company of Benjamin Amache Imbai aged 30, Brian Oduor, 36, and Jack Ochieng, 37. They were in Kitengela where they took nyama choma and had a few drinks before disappearing mysteriously.

A Toyota Mark X which they were cruising in was found a few metres from the spot they were at.

Detectives say they were seen making way to the pub where they spent some time eating and drinking. They left at 3 pm and have not been seen since then.

Their phones allegedly went off on April 19 at 2 pm, an hour before they left the Kitengela pub.

Reports have it that the four men have been friends for long and lived largely and spent heavily on women as part of their lifestyle.

According to a report by Nation, Obuong lived largely from finances he got from relatives living abroad. He loved partying just as much as Benjamin did.
