Edday Nderitu, the wife of popular Mugiithi artiste Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh has put to rest speculations of what could be happening in her marriage.

A week ago, Samidoh owned up to siring a child out of wedlock with city lawyer and Nairobi-based politician Karen Nyamu.

It was a heated issue that brought with it criticism and a barrage of words for Edday who stood with Samidoh all through before his fame.

On Sunday, Edday shared a photo of her and Samidoh in church, at the pulpit where they joined another lady.

The post cut an image of a couple that is happy and has let bygones be bygones.

Edday was hailed as a strong woman who knows the value of forgiveness after the scandal that hit her family.

In his apology, Samidoh said that he had informed his wife and family of the birth of his other son with Nyamu.

He said that he is pained by those trolling his wife of 11 years.

“I am sorry!!! I have put my family and myself in a bad situation. It is true I had a friendship with Ms. Karen Nyamu and its this involvement that led to the birth of an innocent child whom I have and will always support both emotionally and materially.

“I am a proud father to my children. I am however perturbed by the motive and timing of these past videos which have led unnecessary trolling of the child and my wife, I have never left my wife of 11 years for another woman. I apologized to her and my family before,” he said.

Samidoh’s cheating saga drew a lot of reactions and fellow gospel artiste Loise Kim recently asked women not to leave their men because of cheating.

Loise, a divorcee, said leaving a man for cheating does not good because you could end up with a worse philanderer that the men you left for cheating on you.

“No woman should leave her husband because he has taken another woman reason, no man is better than the other, just know how to handle him and solve your issues,” she remarked.

The Kikuyu gospel artiste advised women to embrace resolving their issues without necessarily breaking up.

“If you leave your husband because he has taken another woman and you think that you will go and get a better man out there, am sorry you are wrong, what you will get is another philanderer who is worse than your husband. Fight for this man who belongs to you. Therefore, women, stick to your men, know how to handle them, solve your issues and how you will change him.”

Nonetheless, she explained that she is not advocating for infidelity or polygamy.
