Commencement speaker Judy Woodruff, speaking today at the graduation ceremony told the students that America is in need of their newly acquired skills. She continued to urge them  never to lose faith despite the changes the country is experiencing.

”….In technology, communication, education, even the way we raise children is changing. Our politics is in uphill, the great education you received here will be the foundation of your life….

Choose your interests carefully for they will shape you and shape what you accomplish in life” Judy said.

Judy is an award-winning journalist and anchor of the PBS Newshour.

The graduates were also reminded that they graduated at a crucial time when the country is going to the elections in November. Judy asked them to exercise their right and take part in the elections by voting.
