A total of 13 politicians from Kiambu County have defied the political tide and moved to NASA.
On Monday, NASA Chief Raila Odinga received a group of sitting MCAs and aspirants from the county.
He is expected to hold a rally in the county tomorrow.
In his speech soon after welcoming them to the opposition, Raila said that he is ready to take his campaigns in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard.

Uhuru enjoys unrivalled support in Kiambu region where Jubilee Party has been embraced by a majority of the residents.
He added that: “NASA will campaign in Kiambu, Muranga and Nyeri since we represent the face of Kenya.”
Lately, the opposition boss has been making inroads in Jubilee perceived strongholds.
They raided Meru and Tharaka Nithi areas where they say that it will be a swing region come August 8.
His message for Tuesday’s Kiambu rally will be that NASA is the best solution.
“Our message to Kiambu residents will be ‘NASA is the solution to your problems and Jubilee is the problem to the solution’.” he sid
