Another 151 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Wednesday bringing the total caseload in the country to 38,259.
Health CAS Dr Rashid Aman said during his daily brief at Afya House said the total number of samples tested so far are at 547,946.
Out of the 151 new COVID-19 cases, six are foreigners.
The youngest case is a one-year-old child while the oldest is 82. 97 are male and 54 are female.
Further, another 168 patients were discharged; 105 from home-based care and 63 from hospitals around the country bringing the total number of recoveries to 24,908.
Regrettably, four patients succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of deaths to 711.
Nairobi county led with 32 cases followed by Nakuru (24), Kisumu (22), Garissa (14), Mombasa (10), Meru (8), Kajiado (8).
