Baringo South residents are mourning the death of their MP Grace Kipchoim who died on Friday 4:30am at Nairobi Hospital.
Kipchoim has been battling cancer for a while. She succumbed to the illness.
She was serving her second term after being re-elected on a Jubilee Party ticket.
The deceased did not campaign much in last year’s campaigns, something attributed to her failing health.
Leaders from Baringo led by Senator Gideon Moi have eulogized Kipchoim as a hardworking and dedicated leader.
Baringo North MP William Cheptumo termed Kipchoim’s death as sad.
“This is very sad. We convey our condolences to her family,” Cheptumo said as quoted by Nairobi News.
