A high-end car owned by Benjamin Imbai, one of the murdered Kitengela four cannot be traced.

Imbai’s Toyota Landcruiser TX 120 series and a Lexus Rx270h valued at Ksh11 million cannot be traced.

Imabi, 30, was known for his fine taste of things in life. At 30, he was living his dream with almost everything at his disposal.

According to the Standard, on May 7, all of his things were moved from his Athi River apartment. He lives at the posh Everest Park Estate Apartments.

His parking had two cars; the Lexus and the black TX.

When another tenant came calling, his younger brother is said to have driven out the Lexus and left the TX at the parking.

Sources say that the ignition key to the Prado could not be found even after a frantic search. His family had to call in a programming specialist who reprogrammed the vehicle and it started on May 7.

The TX was driven out of the premises and has not been seen since then.

Imbai was a bachelor who lived alone in his three-bedroom apartment at Everest. Not much was known about him because he was a tenant for less than a year.

The Kitengela quartet was linked to a series of crimes in Mombasa, Nairobi, Machakos and Kajiado.

They all, at one time, had a police record for crimes they committed.

Imbai’s body was found at the General Kago Mortuary in Thika as that of Elijah Obuong was found at a mortuary in Murang’a.
