President Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee Party has dared NASA to boycott repeat polls.

JP Secretary-General Raphael Tuju on Wednesday told the opposition to make good their threat and boycott polls.

On Tuesday, NASA boss said that they will not participate in any elections on October 17 as gazetted by IEBC.

“There will be no elections on 17 October until the conditions we have spelt out are met,” said Raila.

He said the poll date should be set at 24th or 31st October.

Tuju while speaking on Citizen TV said NASA led by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka has been issuing “empty threats” since 2014 of boycotting polls.

And in the repeat polls,” they should for once do it” and give Jubilee an easy win or stop “throwing tantrums like teenagers”.

Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri and Leader of Majority in the Senate Kipchumba Murkomen told off NASA over boycott threat.

The CS said it will be a good move because it will be easy for Jubilee to continue governing the country.

Murkomen said they should boycott and have Uhuru sworn-in soonest possible.

Tuju also faulted Uhuru for losing his cool and used derogatory words to describe Supreme Court Judges.

He also said statements made by the President that he would “fix” the Judges for nullifying the poll were in bad taste.

Tuju said such statements have dented the image of the Presidency as Kenyans have a “certain standard” that they gauge him with.
