Firebrand Jubilee MP Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills) has been arrested for allegedly trading in fake Treasury Bills.
He was arrested alongside two other people on Friday at the Central Bank of Kenya whey they had tried to cash-in the Treasury Bills worth Sh633 million.
CBK Deputy Director in charge of Communications, Wallace Kantai confirmed the MP and his two colleagues identified as Athai Ngolo Sagwa and Madat Sagai Chatur were trying to cash-in forged T-Bills at the time of their arrest.
“They presented a set of forged treasury bills which were purportedly issued by the CBK a number of years ago,” Kantai said.
