Comedian Kasee of Churchill Show found dead by the roadside in Kinoo

Kenya’s entertainment industry is mourning the loss of one of their own, Churchill’s comedian Joseph Musyoka Kivindu alias Kasee.

Kasee was reportedly found lying dead by the roadside in Kinoo on Sunday morning.

Sources say that Kasee who lived in the area left his house to join a group of friends.

According to multiple sources, Kasee left his house to go out for a drink with his friends but never made it back home. It is still unclear what happened.

His body was wheeled to Chiromo mortuary for preservation and post mortem to ascertain the cause of death.

Churchill mourned Kasee’s death terming it a big blow to the industry.

“A really sad way to end the week. It is a bitter pill to swallow but then we cannot question God’s plans. My deepest condolences to the family & friends of Kasee. May your hearts find peace from the almighty,” Churchill tweeted.

Comedians Society Chairman, Ken Waudo also mourned his death and condoled with his family.

Before his meteoric rise in the industry, Kasee is reportedly said to have been struggling with alcoholism but managed to beat it.

He even started his own wholesale business before a relapse hit him once again.

He has been survived by two children and wife.

The deceased was loved by many due to his relatable jokes.
