Consular services at the Kenyan Embassy in France resumed on Tuesday, June 23.
In a statement, Kenya’s Ambassador to France Prof Judy Wakhungu said that this follows the declaration of Paris as a Green Zone on the spread of COVID-19 by the French government.
The mission issued timelines for the application and collection of passports.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya wished to inform Kenya Diaspora (France Portugal Serbia) and other esteemed clients of resumption of consular services with effect 23rd June 2020.
“Submission of passport application be from 1000hrs-1300hrs. Collection of passports will be from 1000hrs-1600hrs,” read part of the statement.
The embassy added all service will “strictly be on an appointment basis” as a measure to comply with the directives spelt out by the government in the resumption of consular services.
Visa services, however, remain suspended, the embassy clarified adding that all those with appointments will be required to wear face masks whenever they in the mission’s premises.
