Renewed battle by NASA to send current IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and Commissioners home is quickly turning to a an ugly political confrontation with Jubilee.

On Saturday, Jubilee brigade led by the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly and Senate, Aden Duale and Kipchumba Murkomen threatened to unmask some commissioners in different institutions allegedly working with the opposition.

Speaking at State House during a Jubilee Party members meeting, the duo said that if NASA persists on their call to oust current IEBC commissioners, they will unmask all those working for the opposition.

“If you Raila Odinga you are man enough, try to remove the IEBC Commissioners. If you dare, we shall remove all your friends from all the commissions starting with Judiciary and Supreme Court,” said the Garissa Township MP as quoted by the Star.

The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator said there are people within government working with the opposition and that they will be unmasked if NASA dares to send Chebukati and team home.

“I want to tell Raila face to face that if he wants Chebukati removed, Maraga should also go. If he wants Chiloba removed, he should start with Amadi,” charged Murkomen.

Immediately after the Supreme Court verdict, Raila said current IEBC Chair and his team cannot oversee the fresh election ordered by the court.

He said there needs to be change of guard. However, this has been strongly opposed by Jubilee team.

Deputy President William Ruto also spoke against NASA’s plot to oust IEBC commissioners.

“They cried against the previous commissioners and they had their way. This is the same IEBC that oversaw election of their Governors, Senators, Women Reps, and MCAs,” maintained Ruto adding “If Raila has a problem with this IEBC; he should first let all those sworn in resign.”
