A Police escort attached to Deputy President William Ruto’s motorcade died on Saturday en route to Githunguri.
He was ahead of the DP’s motorcade when he crashed along Wangari Maathai road on the fateful morning.
The DP is attending a burial in Guthunguri.
The DP together with President Uhuru Kenyatta have an escort team drawn from the elite presidential escort.
Every time they are on official duty, they are escorted by the outriders.
