Revered Kikuyu gospel singer Elizabeth Nyambere has set the record straight on the hacking of her verified Facebook page that has been uploading funny videos daily.
Nyambere said that she was hacked in February and a month later, there are 129 videos uploaded on her page.
She says that her followers have been asking her about the change in her Facebook posts which are now full of DIY videos.
Although nothing explicit has been posted since the hacking incident, she feels uncomfortable that even with her verification status she still lost the account.
The page now has 181,000 followers, most of them who now seem entertained by the short video being posted.
The videos are getting a massive number of likes and shares.
Nyambere who is a recipient of the Head of State Commendation (HSC) says she does not know what to do about it all.
Her most popular songs include Andu Mahana Kiro, Daudi na Afilisti, Wairimu Thii Uhoro among others.
Three months ago, she disclosed that she has been ailing from gallstones which have taken a toll on her health. She has battled stomach problems for the last four years.
She went for surgery to remove the gallstones which she says have denied her peace for a long time.
Nyambere started her musical journey in 1983 and has since been in the industry.
