Former Faulu Kenya head, Pete Ondeng’ to vie for Presidency in August

With barely four months to go before Kenyans head to the ballot to either vote for NASA or Jubilee, a new entrant has announced his candidature for the presidency.

Pete Ondeng’, Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Lead Africa Foundation has thrown his hat into the ring.

Lead Africa Foundation is an organization mainly built on handling any hurdles that impede social and economic development in Africa. Ondeng’ announced of his candidature via his twitter account. He will vie for the top seat on a Restore and Build Kenya (RBK) Party ticket.

He has already submitted his name to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) already.

“It’s official @rbkparty has submitted my name to @IEBCKenya as a presidential aspirant. Watch&pray The Impossible is possible.  Stand by,” read his tweet on April 8.

On Saturday, he officially launched his bid this time round terming himself as the third horse in a race of three horses.

“So, here we go. This is the third horse in a 3 horse race; the alternative choice; The new voice; The spanner in the works,” read another tweet.

The candidate for Kenyan Presidency boasts of an impeccable career as the head of Faulu Kenya and over years experience in handling global businesses.

He also has unrivaled experience in public governance and handling the non-profit sector.

Ondeng’ served as the President for New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
