JackIsaac Mundia Ndale is a 14-year-old boy who is passionate about swimming and is scheduled to compete in the world para-swimming World Series championship in June in Indianapolis, USA.

He is the son of Tom and Mariah Ndale with six other siblings of which one is an adopted orphaned relative.

When he was 2 years 5 months old, he got into an accident that left him with his right leg terribly injured. This necessitated a below the knee amputation.

The parents enrolled the children to The Nyali School in Mombasa. Despite his amputation, he literally dove into swimming and he and the pool have been inseparable.

He has won numerous gold medals for the school under both CASA – Coast Armature Swimming Assassination and KSF – Kenya Swimming Federation.

His highlight is the backstroke relay, where he is on a team with three able-bodied teammates and his stroke is always the deal breaker always ending in gold.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ndale, a seasoned HR practitioner lost his job through redundancy and life has been a downward spiral. This left him and his wife no choice but to move the children to public schools.

The Nyali School, through the principal Mr. John Kombo realized the challenges ahead of Jackisaack’s integration in the public school and offered him a bursary through the school’s benevolent fund.

Jackisaack is scheduled to compete in the world para-swimming World Series championships scheduled in June in Indianapolis USA. For this, he needs to get is swimming paraplegic classification in Indianapolis too. This requires an immense amount of money to cover

This requires an immense amount of money to cover travel, accommodation, and meals during the classification and competition period. The Nyali School has offered their referral to facilitate Embassy requirements and Jackisaack already got his visa.

In light of all these, various forms of fundraising have been formed both in Kenya and in the Diaspora to facilitate his swift travel and have Jack Isaack reach his fullest potential.
