Barely weeks after Prof Hamo treated Kenyans to drama with his baby mama Jemutai comedian, he has been fired from Hot 96.
Prof Hamo real name Herman Gakobo Kago has been co-hosting the breakfast show with Jeff Koinange.
His exit from Hot 96 has come with several theories. Some reports suggest that Hamo fell out with his bosses at Royal Media Services in April. He had been cited for indiscipline.
He is alleged to have been fired weeks before his saga with Jemutai Comedian, sources privy to the case say.
Other unconfirmed reports suggest that Hamo got another Job offer from a different radio station and that his exit had nothing to do with Jemutai.
On Tuesday, Jemutai released DNA results for her two kids putting an end to speculations on whether Prof Hamo fathered her two kids, a boy and a girl. The results confirmed that Hamo was the father of her two kids.
Prof Hamo’s affair with Jemutai started at Carnivore in Nairobi in 2015 where the Churchill show took place.
In leaked audio of Jemutai speaking to Edgar Obare about their relationship, Jemutai narrates every step that they took with Hamo who she regards as “a dead beat”.
Jemutai who is Hamo’s ‘second wife’ accused the comedian of neglecting his children.
“My biggest problem with Hamo is that he never treated all his kids equal,” she said.
He disputed the claims saying that he provides for all his children.
“I have children who live with me and others who don’t live with me. I have been providing for my children from day one and there’s no day they went without food or shelter or anything they need,” he stated.
