Five months after they engaged in an ugly fist fight at Parliament’s media centre, Embakasi East and Starehe MPs, Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino and Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar have made up.

They made up on Tuesday, following the steps of President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The two youthful MPs took on another in a brawl in October, each defending his party head.

At the time, Jaguar said that he confronted Babu for insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta and failing to recognize his legality.

“We will teach you a lesson you Babu, you must respect the President,” charged Jaguar at the time according to Nairobi News.

In response however, Babu mockingly asked him: “Which President? The only President I know is Raila Odinga.”

Yesterday though, they shared pictures while enjoying lights moments at the precincts of Parliament.

Babu later captioned one of the photos on his facebook page: “Today I met Hon. Jaguar at Parliament and reconciled our differences. Promised to work together to serve the interest of Kenyans.

Jaguar captioned his: “Kenya is finally one.”

Uhuru met Raila on Friday at Harambee House where in a public announcement they called on leaders to lead by example on how to heal the country which has been reeling on the edge of ethnicity.
