Jubilee Party has crafted an elaborate strategy to counter NASA’s inauguration plan of their leader Raila Odinga but in a civil way.

The ruling party led by President Uhuru Kenyatta will not interfere with the ‘swearing-in’ plan

This, according to the Standard, will calm political temperatures and will give Jubilee an upper-hand in convincing Kenyans it is the legitimate government.

Sources within Jubilee said a move to try and stop the inauguration ceremony will give an impression Raila is an equal to Uhuru.

“There are many presidents of many associations in Kenya – including the children’s parliament, Team Mafisi, boy child, etc. There is nothing wrong with Raila swearing himself as President of an association,” reads the JP strategy crafted at the party’s headquarters in Pangani.

The strategy has been forwarded to the President and his Deputy William Ruto.

Jubilee bloggers will on Monday set on a course with the intent to mock the swearing-in plan.  The aim of doing this is to discredit it, in a polite way.

“Social media should design a graphic to poke fun at Raila swearing-in.”

Besides discrediting the ceremony by NASA, the bloggers are expected to fan a 7-point communication strategy for Jubilee which will further push the oath plan by NASA to the drain.

They are expected to highlight important issues touching on the lives of Kenyans and which are important that the bogus oath plan.

This will include communication that parents are gearing up to take back their kids to school next year, how Kenyans can now access bank loans.

Also, Jubilee has roped in the wits of political strategist Washington Makodingo and Gabriel Muthuma who are expected to push the devolution agenda through writing pieces for national dailies.

This will encompass circling NASA governors and pushing the narrative they view Raila as an isolated man.

They will also list the gains of devolution for the last five years.

But even with this, the events of what could happen on Tuesday still remain a mystery.

Government’s position is that if Raila takes presidential oath, he will be in breach of the law and will be charged with treason.

But he has come out and said he is ready to face the charges, a statement that is likely to aggravate the situation even more.

NASA is expected to announce the venue of the ceremony later on Sunday according to ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen.
