A Kalenjin elder believed to have magical powers has reached out to President Uhuru and His Deputy William Ruto to visit Rift Valley and get his blessing ahead of August polls.
According to The Star, Elder Kipngeny Marisin has “blessed” two retired Presidents for Kenya in the last two decades and they have emerged victorious.
Marisin also blessed Uhuru and Ruto in 2013and they went ahead to win in the polls.
“I anointed retired President Moi in Chebunyo, Mwai Kibaki in Bomet grounds and Uhuru with Ruto in Kapkatet before 2013 elections and they won.”
“We want Uhuru and Ruto to urgently come to Rift for a special blessing as we have always been doing,” he said.
He said the ceremony will be carried out by eight elders; four from the church and the other four from the Kalenjin community.
Under his guidance, they will lead the ceremony and crown it by giving his blessing to the Jubilee duo.
The elder said that opposition leaders; Raila Odinga and Isaac Ruto cannot lead the country as they had no blessing at all.
“Raila has no blessing to lead this country,” he said.
