Last week, one lucky man in Kenya won $2.21 million (221 million shillings) in the popular Kenyan Jackpot Sportpesa after he correctly predicted 17 games making him an instant millionaire.
The man, Mr. Samuel Abisai, received the huge payout from the company’s CEO, Cpt Ronald Karauri at a red carpet event later after the announcement.
However, when the name of the jackpot winner was made public, it sounded familiar to one lady, and upon looking him up on Facebook, she realized he’s the man who had tried hitting on her twice some six years ago, but she completely ignored him.
Carol Morara, went to Facebook and posted a screenshot of Mr. Abisai’s effort in trying to hit on her in vain. She captioned the screenshot ”A moment of silence to the guys we snob..(grumpy emoji) ”
Samuel told the media that he will never bet again, and is still contemplating on what to do with the huge win.
