MCA aspirant’s 3 boys go missing in Uasin Gishu

By Jamhuri News Reporter

Three sons of Uasin Gishu County MCA have gone missing. The boys are reported to have gone to Eldovil SDA Church in the company of their cousin on Saturday but never returned.

The MCA and his wife appeal to the community to help in finding their children.

The three boys, Six-year-old Clifford Nyambane, five-year-old Dan Nyamweya, and three-year-old Glen Ongagi, were last seen with their uncle who has since denied any knowledge of their whereabouts.

“I prepared very early for church as is the norm on Saturday,” the mother said.

Their father, a MCA candidate for Kapsoya ward in Uasin Gishu County was in agony on Wednesday after efforts to find them went futile. He said he has been in peace with his political competitors but could not ”rule out that the children’s disappearance is related to politics, but I cannot speculate”.

The family asked well-wishers and neighbors to assist in the search.

Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdi Hassan said they had begun investigations into the matter, and asked parents to be vigilant.

“Parents should also vet people who take care of their children when they have gone to work,” he said.
