“Nairobi Business Community” is now in uniform, vows to protect businesses in the city from destruction during NASA demos

“We are protecting our businesses and the future of our businesses. If the opposition people want to demonstrate, we don’t have any problem. We will only have issue if they destroy our businesses,” warned Mr. Wilfred Kamau, the leader of the Nairobi Business Community.

This comes a few days after a group of women in jubilee leadership wore similar attire that included red berets during jubilee campaigns.

It is against the National Police Act for civilians to dress in disciplined forces’ uniforms, and offenders are “liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one million shillings or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding ten years, or to both.”
