Mombasa-based pop star Nyota Ndogo is in distress due to her seemingly crumbling marriage.
Nyota wedded her Dutch husband Henning Nielsen in 2016. Together, they have a fair share of ups and downs, especially with online trolls.
They weathered it all until 2021 when things seemingly fell apart.
On April Fools Day, she pranked her husband and the joke seems to have gone down badly with him. At first, Nyota Ndogo told her fans that her husband wouldn’t respond to her text messages since he is out of the country.
Then, he completely blocked her and she has no way of getting to him.
For the last couple of days, she has been trying frantically to reach Nielsen through passionate Facebook posts.
In a series of posts, Nyota Ndogo pours out her heart appealing for mercy.
On Friday night, she did a long post reminding Nielsen of the good days they shared back in the day.
“Hata kama kizungu yangu sio nzuri I will fight for this love. Watu wanafikiria nirahisi penzi ulilolizoea unaweza kuliacha gafla nop not me. Mimi nalia mtandaoni kuna wanaojinyonga kwakuogopa kuongea wacha waseme najiaibisha lakini KAMA KUKUPENDA NIMAKOSA SITAKI KUA SAWA DUNIANI,” she wrote on Facebook.
The “Nibebe” hitmaker vowed to travel abroad to look for him if he continues blocking her.
“MENIBLOCK KILA MAHALI LAKINI GOOGLE itakupa ujumbe I will come to you if you don’t come here. Wewe mawe basi huna uruma Jamani,” Nyota Ndogo stated.
In a separate post on May 13, the Coast-based entertainer confessed that she is not after Nielsen’s money. All she wants is his love. As for money, she is content with what she makes from her businesses.
“Plzz come back to me. Mimi hata sio pesa nalilia love. Nilikua na act don’t care course nakula nalala vizuri najilipia bills zangu mwenyewe but one thing nakosa from you ni love. Kumbe pesa sio kila kitu muimu kupata mtu unaempenda na wewe kwako nimefika mwisho yani kama hurudi ntajifia single,” she begged.
