Police in Washington, DC have launched a spirited search for a Kenyan woman who went missing four days ago.

Olga Ooro, 34, is reportedly said to have gone missing on Sunday, July 19.

It is her who informed the police of her disappearance after visiting her apartment. To his shock, he found his grandson alone.

Information released so afar indicates that Ooro was last seen on Thursday, July 16, in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW.

Her case has been termed “critical” as police remain alert on establishing her whereabouts.

The 34-year-old mother of one is dark in complexion, has black hair and hazel eyes and is 5”9 in height.

She has been described by her relatives, close friends and neighbours as a likeable and responsible person.

One of her neighbours says she is optimistic that she will be found for her son’s sake.

“I’m hoping and praying they are able to find her because I feel for her son. I’m about to cry. This is really scary,” a neighbour by the name Michelle Boyd told News4.

Posters and flyers with her image have been placed by the police with the hope of having people who may know of her whereabouts share information with the police.
