Police have asked Kenyans to share information on a man pictured brandishing a bloody knife during NASA’s Friday chaos in the city.

The man, a seemingly young guy in the picture is seen making away with a bunch of ripe bananas which he clasps on his right hand while his left hand is in firm grip of a blood-stained knife.

His picture has been doing rounds in social media since Friday when NASA leader Raila Odinga’s homecoming turned to a long day of chaos and massive destruction of property in some parts of Nairobi.

He was part of the supporters who welcomed the NASA boss after his arrival at JKIA.

The man’s picture was also published in the Saturday Nation.

Former Kitutu Chache South ODM aspirant Antony Kibagendi told Nairobi News the man in the photo was pictured stabbing a trader at City Stadium and later took away his bunch of bananas.

Since the photo went viral, Kenyans on Twitter have been calling for his arrest.

“This shouldn’t be condoned either by NRM or government,” tweeted D.a Ongoma.

“Get this guy behind bars,” John Waweru said.

“Oh no! This one has to be caught, he has no justification! I hope the police will do something about this,” said I_Care.

There was massive damage to property on Friday as NASA supporters went rogue on police.

They set ablaze a matatu outside Muthurwa market. They looted shops along Jogoo road and also in Embakasi area.

Police shot dead four of them.

Raila however, defended his supporters saying it is Jubilee that hired armed militia disguised as NASA supporters.
