Raila calls on Boinett to arrest killers of three brothers from Eldoret

By Pharis Kinyua: Jamhuri News

Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has called on the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to arrest those behind the killing of three young boys from Eldoret.

In a condolence message he sent out to James Ratemo’s-father to Clifford Nyambane, Dan Nyamweya and Glen Ongagi who were slain, he said their death was not justified at all.

“It is my hope that the children were not killed because of the political activities of their father. No child should pay for the crimes, real or imagined of their parents.

We labor in vain if politics only leads to the murder of the very children we are hoping to make the country a better place for,” read part of the condolence message posted on his facebook page.

Ratemo is vying for Kapsoya ward seat on a KANU ticket.

It is believed that the killing of three boys has everything to do with politics.

He urged Boinett to take action and ensure the culprits behind the heinous murder are apprehended.

“For the sake of the children of Kenya, the Inspector General of police must take up the matter of these three children –Clifford, Dan and Glen-personally and keep the people of Kenya updated on progress until the culprit is apprehended and justice is done.”

He urged Kenyans to join hands and demand for justice. “Kenyans must join hands in demanding justice for three children.”

The three boys went missing last week on Saturday after a church service at Eldovil SDA Church.

They are reported to have been in the company of the uncle who has since been apprehended by police in regard to the murder.

Ratemo in a press briefing after the news that his sons were found dead and dumped at River Nzoia put up a brave show of courage and said that he is grateful to have his boys back though they are dead.

He also thanked Kapsoya ward residents for standing up with him in searching for the three boys since Saturday.
