Raila Junior reacts to Maraga’s judgment upholding Uhuru’s victory

Minutes after the Supreme Court upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory on Monday, opposition leader Raila Odinga’s son responded to the judgment of the apex court.

Raila Odinga Junior through #SupremeJudgment said: “One step forward, two steps backward.”

This was minutes after Chief Justice David Maraga issued the ruling.

And Kenyans on Twitter did not hesitate to respond to his tweet.

Jackline Karwira told Raila Odinga Junior: “Ata ile siku maraga alinullify tulikua tunajua…mlishangilia…its our turn.”

Dangi Kiogora: “You expected to win without voting how??”

Samlion: “Raila Bondo quick quick!”

But there are those who felt Raila should now hurry up and liberate Kenyans.

They responded to his son’s tweet saying the stage has been set for resistance.

Wade Cleme: “Junior ambia baba afanye kazi haraka.”

Douglas Ebole: “I still #resist ..KABISAAAAA!!!”

Bernadycarmen: “Whatever the verdict,, we as NRM won’t affected in any way. Tushajipanga wakiapisha tunaapishaa.”

Mwanika Uchi: “Tell your father to stop joking. We need back our nation from thieves.”

Kominde: “At the end there was a beginning and the beginning never had an end. The struggle goes on.”

Lawyer Nelson Havi said the judgment was cooked. “As expected, after being ‘fixed’, SCOK makes two steps backwards to preserves the State, at the expense of People’s popular will. #SupremeJudgment.”

Others said the ruling opens a new channel for Kenya to heal and move on.
