In a video shared by State House communications director Dennis Itumbi, opposition leader Raila Odinga is heard inciting supporters to come out in large numbers for Friday’s [tomorrow] demonstrations.
”Mko tiyari? mko tiyari?……kesho nataka kuona sura zenu nyinyi wote” (Tomorrow I want to see all your faces) he said.
Speaking through a handheld loudspeaker, Raila allegedly continued to tell the small crowd that had gathered at a residential area that he would like to see women stripping tomorrow during the demos.
According to State House communications director, Raila said: “Nataka nione chupi ya akina mama. sawa sawa? ” (I’d like to see women stripping, okay?). he said as the women cheered in excitement.
The video, which is slightly over a minute, was recorded by a neighbor over the fence.
