Deputy President William Ruto is yet again on a collision course with his political archenemy Raila Odinga following Friday’s chaos by NASA supporters in Nairobi.

Ruto in a tirade against the former Prime Minister described him as a “master of violence”.

On Friday, Jogoo road and its environs in Nairobi were no-go zones as NASA supporters staged massive destruction of property, looted and injured other Kenyans.

They were from JKIA where they received Raila after his 10-day visit in the US.

Ruto in a tweet on Saturday said: “The lord of POVERTY & master of VIOLENCE came with his signature chaos, destruction, bloodshed and death. Barbaric, undemocratic & primitive.”

First in response was ODM’s director of communications Philip Etale who responded to Ruto’s tweet this way: “Lord of Land Grabbing.”

But another KOT, Kalenjin Mau Mau told him that NASA is the lord of corruption and not the DP.

“Philip Etale, enda Kibera udanganye wajinga. NASA’s Grand Corruption: RAILA ODINGA: Triton-AngloLeasing-KQ Cargo-Kazi kwa vijana, pesa kwa wazee-BAT-Slum upgrade-Mumias Sugar Scams. MUDAVADI – Goldenburg-Cemetery Scams. WETANGULA – BAT-Japan Scams. Just to mention a few.”

Festus Kiplangat in his tweet response agreed that Raila is the lord of poverty. “Indeed he is the father of poverty.”

Others said the much-awaited Supreme Court ruling on October 26 polls will deal with Raila ruthlessly.

“Let’s keep calm and wait for SCOK ruling on Monday. Take oath of office. Then sort out this old stooge who’s been taking kenya hostage. Deal with @RailaOdinga perpendicularly or ruthlessly! Watajua hawajui,” said Atanas.

But there are NASA supporters who took issues with Ruto’s remarks and they went on him.

Bel Akinyi said: “You want to conveniently forget that you were taken to the Hague over the same crimes against humanity also that the violence you’re talking about was meted on civilians on orders made by same government you lead of not you personally? You thrive in lies yet claim to be holy.”

Wuod Nyauyoma tweeted: “All because you stole. Stole land, stole money, stole mama Abby, stole elections. Can you go a day without stealing?”

Others told off the DP over his tweet saying he should be a unifying factor and not a perpetrator of violence.

“A whole dep pres who is supposed to utter unifying words but instead insults @RailaOdinga. You are the master of violence, “averred Orimba.

On Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta said he will  not allow Raila to push Kenya to anarchy.
