Seven people lost their lives on Wednesday after a lorry carrying building bricks lost control and hit a minibus which hit guardrails, then overturned landing on a 14-seater Nanyuki-bound matatu.
The accident happened on Thika-Nairobi superhighway on the stretch between GSU headquarters and East African Breweries Limited.
Investigations on what caused the lorry to lose control are underway according to Nairobi Police boss Japheth Koome.
