Nairobi County Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh has conceded defeat to ODM’s Esther Passaris.
Provisional results indicate Passaris is in the lead with 814, 356 votes (53.23 per cent) while Shebesh has managed 658, 079 votes (43.15 per cent).
Shebesh and Passaris were the main contenders in the Women rep seat.
Passaris was in the contest for the same seat in 2013 but lost it to Shebesh.
This time around, she had settled for governorship before deciding to drop her bid and vie for city women rep seat.
She has described Shebesh as her political mentor.
Others were Rahab Ndambuki, Nadya Khan, Teresia Omolo, Winnie Wainaina, Rosemary Macharia and Khadija Theuri.
The six candidates managed to garner about 3 per cent of the total votes cast.
