Three Kenyan suspects arrested in Malawi for alleged human trafficking

The three suspects entered Malawi on July 29, 2017, and started making arrangements with a Malawian man to assist them in getting two girls.
They also wanted the Malawian man to facilitate the two girls travel documents to Dubai where they were to be sent for work.
The suspects, Peter Irungu Muchai, Stephen Mungo Kamau and Ndungu Marigi, had promised to pay USD3,000 to the Malawian man upon completion of the scheme.
The public tipped off the police after learning of the matter and the three were arrested in Lilongwe.
When police interviewed the suspects, they admitted that they intended to traffic the girls to Dubai disguised as casual workers.
