The late Joan Njeri Gitau was laid to rest on Friday in Lowell, MA. Family and friends braved cold weather and showers to pay their last respect to Joan.
Joan was the mother of Jane Wambũi Njoroge and daughter of Frashia Wanja Gĩtaũ, all of PCEA Neema Church, Lowell MA.
She was also a niece to Esther Karanja, Isabella Gĩtaũ, Peter Gĩtaũ, Julia Njenga and Edwin Njenga and a granddaughter of Edward and Jane Gĩtaũ Njũi.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 13
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
May the good lord rest Joan’s soul in everlasting peace.
