NASA Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga has asked Nyamira residents to vote with “anger” and send Jubilee home.

Nyamira is the home county to Chief Justice David Maraga.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday referred to the CJ and other Supreme Court Judges as “wakora” (thugs), a statement that has stirred political waters in Nyamira.

Raila told the voters in the county on Tuesday that they have a chance to avenge the insult to one of their own by Uhuru through voting him out.

“Stay alert and get ready to return to polling stations. This time round no vote will be wasted. I want you to vote en masse and with a vengeance. Thieves must go home,” said Raila according to the Star.

NASA Principal Moses Wetangula told Nyamira residents that it is Jubilee who ate supposed to be branded thieves and not the CJ.

He said time has come for Nyamira residents to make a statement and send home “thieves”.

“The forest and the animals remain the same. Let us vote in even higher numbers. Let us show Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto that their trickery will not help them get ahead,” Wetangula charged.

Wetangula said Maraga and other Judges of the Supreme Court are not crooks and Jubilee should cease attacking them for nullifying their election.

“Chief Justice David Maraga is not a crook. Ruto is the biggest crook and he is standing beside you…we will allow two people to play with Kenya.”

But even as they defend Maraga, Jubilee’s threat to “fix” the Judges seems real.

Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua said Parliament will plan the exit of the CJ and other Judges who overturned the will of Kenyans by nullifying the election.

The President and his Deputy William Ruto had issued similar statements over the weekend saying they will “fix” the Judges once they come back to office.
