Raila Odinga can only bring down President Uhuru Kenyatta through the ballot and not through liberation, Water and Irrigation CS Eugene Wamalwa has said.

Wamlawa who chided Raila on pronouncement of transiting to a rebel leader said Kenya does not need resistance movements but economic liberation.

“Raila can only bring down President Uhuru Kenyatta through a ballot and not through the liberation movement,” he according to the Star.

“I have respected Raila as a democrat in this country but his statement on Wednesday to transform NASA into national resistance movement means he has turned into an anarchist,” he added.

Wamalwa said that Raila’s NRM’s aim is to spark chaos and start a war in the country.

Raila announced on Wednesday in his “big announcement” that he was NASA from a coalition to a resistance movement-National Resistance Movement.

He also said he will rally Kenyans to boycott products and services offered by entities that work with Jubilee regime.

But in a rap, Wamalwa lambasted Raila telling that: “That is the equivalent to you calling for revolution, guerrilla war and resistance by all means including the use of arms.”

He lectured the former Prime Minister saying problems facing Kenya should not be solved through resistance movements.

“Raila should be calling for economic liberation instead of political liberation. We can only achieve economic liberation by allowing Kenyans to vote for the leaders they want.”
