Jane Mugo, a self-styled Kenyan detective based in Nairobi has left many speculating if or not she is eyeing a political seat in 2022.

The mother of two has in the past months been receiving a lot of questions on her stand in politics.

A few days back, she finally responded to the queries. However, she did not give a conclusive answer.

In a statement on her Facebook, Jane said that she has had some people ask her to vie for a political seat in Nairobi or her home county of Kirinyaga.

“I had different visitors this weekend, some requested me to vie for Nairobi County and others in Kirinyaga County,” she said.

In her response to them, she talked about ‘political godfathers’ but she was urged to shun this thought and go for the seat.

“I responded to them, I hear you cannot vie for any political seat without godfather connections and money.

“I honestly fear politics but have served my society courageously, diligently without fear or favour since I was twenty years old. They responded “we have God in heaven “and what it takes.”

Without giving a conclusive answer on her intentions come 2022 she turned to her followers asking for their opinion.

In a nugget of wisdom, the private detective said a human being can get whatever they focus on in life.

“There is no limitation on what you can potentially achieve, except for the limitation you choose to impose on your own imagination.
What you believe to be possible will always come to pass – to the extent that you deem it possible. It really is as simple as that.”

She recently hit the headlines after rescuing a Mombasa-based school bus driver who had been wrongs sent to Shimpo La Tewa Remand prison.

The young man had been wrongly accused of defiling a five-year-old girl. The story was aired by a local TV station leading to his arrest.

Mugo in her parallel investigation discovered that the story had many gaps. She also stated that the young girl was not defiled but her parents were demanding payment from the school.

This story is just one of the many that have endeared her to Kenyans.
