Widow of former Vice President Michael Wamalwa Kijana, Yvonne Wamalwa is dead.
According to a family member, Yvonne died on Thursday morning at her sister’s home in Nanyuki.
Her body is being prepared for airlifting to Nairobi’s Lee Funeral Home.
Wamlawa served as Kenya’s VP during retired President Mwai Kibaki’s first term.
