American Real Estate company RE/MAX takes franchise to Kenya

RE/MAX, short for “Real Estate Maximums,” is now eyeing Kenya’s vibrant real estate market. The American international real estate company operates through a franchise system and has held the number one market share in the United States and Canada since 1999.

The Global Vice President of the firm, Larry Oberly, has been on East African tour visiting TZ, UG, and Kenya.

Mr. Oberly met with local stakeholders and RE/MAX Kenya team at a gala dinner hosted in his honor.

He said that Kenya is currently a leader in increasing competition in Real Estate with vibrant growth that any investor would be interested in.

The firm has more than 100,000 agents in 6,800 offices and operates in over100 countries.

Before the VP’s visit, the firm had sent the Director of Global Business & Franchising Solutions, Cheryl Luster, Senior Regional Development Consultant and Chip Brekken, the Director Global Development to Kenya for market assessment.

RE/MAX provides opportunities for individuals to independently run their own RE/MAX brokerages.
