Family spokesman Jim McGrath said that the 92-year old will be alright. He said Bush was admitted on Friday “for observation due to a persistent cough that prevented him from getting proper rest.”

This is the second time Bush has been admitted to hospital in a span of three months being treated for the same illness.

“It was subsequently determined he had a mild case of pneumonia, which was treated and has been resolved. President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength,” said McGrath statement.

Bush is the oldest living ex-President who served in the Oval office. He served for only one term between 1989-1992.
