Fresh details have emerged of state-of–the-art sh700 million fortress being built by President Uhuru Kenyatta just next to State House.

According to the Star, the President is in a rush to finish the construction of the fortress which is strikingly white going as shown by aerial pictures by end of June.

He wants to hold his private delegations and high-end meetings which come with his re-election bid. He has always loved to be in his private residence.

The new residence will have a modern physical barrier-a high concrete wall, as well as sophisticated technology which includes an electric fence, bullet proof windows and elaborate alarm system and 24-hour GSU protection and security system designed by government experts.

Uhuru moved out of his old house in 2015 to allow for renovations. But, he opted to have it built a fresh. He inherited it from his father.

Satellite images from Google map show a driveway which has a mini roundabout leading to the main house with two wings. The right wing shows a swimming pool while the left one shows a helipad on the roof of the upper level.

Additionally, the road outside the home was expanded to provide a public lane leaving another one leading directly to the home under heavy guard by GSU.

However, no one knows the interiors of the house due to he high level of secrecy surrounding the construction of the house.

State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu in May 2015 when the news first broke out that the President had moved out to allow for renovations said that the cost is being funded privately and not by the state.
