“You’ve no 10 million votes, you’re panicking”, Martha Karua tells NASA

Narc Kenya Party leader has trashed a narrative by opposition leaders that they are 10 million votes strong.

Speaking in Kerugoya town on Wednesday, she said that opposition is using the 10-million vote tag to hoodwink Kenyans.

The Kirinyaga gubernatorial hopeful said Jubilee has more support from across the country than NASA has and Jubilee will defeat NASA in the August polls.

She said constant reference by NASA about getting 10 million votes is a sign of panic.

“Kenyans have not gone to polls and it is ridiculous for NASA to claim that it has support of 10 million voters. They are panicking and that is why they are peddling false claims,” said the Narc Kenya Party leader.

She added as reported by Daily Nation: “Jubilee will definitely defeat NASA during the elections.”

“We as Narc Kenya have thrown our weight behind President Kenyatta and we are confident that he shall emerge winner,” said Karua.

But even as she took a swipe at NASA over the tag, opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka pitched camp in Isiolo where they rallied voters to vote for them.

Raila categorically told Isiolo residents that they already have 10 million votes and told them to repeat the same.

But Jubilee protégées have dismissed this as well.

Deputy President William Ruto in an interview last week said that Jubilee registered more voters than NASA therefore, there is no way they could have more voters than them.

Pundits have also argued that the 10-million vote tag by Raila is misleading since he does not know how people will turn out to vote.

Nonetheless, Raila maintains that he has a strategy in place which will have voters from Nyanza, Nairobi, Western and Coast regions turn out in huge numbers to give home a landslide win against Jubilee.
