Widow of slain IEBC acting ICT manager Chris Musando has appealed for a job from any organization to help her educate her children.
Eva Buyu, in a moving letter she sent to Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o said IEBC has forgotten all about after her husband’s heinous murder on July 29, 2017.
Nyong’o read the letter aloud during celebrations marking 25 years of operation for Kenya Human Rights Commission at a Nairobi Hotel on Wednesday.
“I don’t want to submit myself to another man in order to feed my children. I will appreciate any decent job that will enable me cater for my family,” Eva passionately appealed according to the Star saying she needs to educate her children.
Msando was murdered a week before the country headed for general polls on August 8 2017.
His body was found at a thicket in Muguga forest, in Kikuyu badly mutilated.
Chief Government pathologists Dr. Johansen Oduor in his autopsy report said the late Msando was tortured before his death.
He was strangled and his right arm had deep incisions, all of which pointed to torture ordeal.
Eva in her tribute to fallen husband eulogized him as a caring and loving father who provided his family with love and comfort at all times.
She said Msando’s killers will know no peace.
Much has not been said about the investigations into the case just like opposition leaders at the time had said.
