A Jubilee MP known for his constant attacks on the opposition has once again broken the internet with a mockery post directed at Raila Odinga.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria mocked the former Prime Minister urging Jubilee government to work harder and bring the price of maize flour from sh90 to 72-Raila’s age.
“I am not impressed with this Unga for Ksh 90. It is still 18 more than Raila’s age,” read a post on his facebook page Tuesday.
He urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to work harder and bring the sh18 difference down so that it can retail at 72 which is Raila’s “youthful age.”
“Work hard Uhuruto. Reduce the price by another Ksh 18 and make the price same as Raila’s youthful age #justsaying,” ended the post.
Government announced on Tuesday that effective from Wednesday, maize flour across the country would retail at sh90.
Agriculture CS Willy Bett and his Principal Secretary Richard Lesiyampe promised Kenyans that the prices of maize flour would remain at affordable rates.
The prices have come down from sh150 per 2kg bag of maize flour after the first consignment of imported maize from Mexico arrived in the country last week on Thursday.
