A couple from Nairobi has been charged with defrauding a doctor of Sh10 million.
Braxwell Shiundu and Susan Awino were yesterday arraigned before Milimani law courts magistrate Francis Andayi and charged with obtaining the money from Dr Ali Raza on diverse dates between May and March this year.
The incident took place in Parklands.
The two pretended to be in a position where they could secure an ambassadorial post for Dr Raza in Congo Brazaville.
The couple, however, denied the charges and urged the court to favourable bail terms
Andayi released them on Sh3 million bond or Sh1 million cash bail each pending trial
The case will be mentioned on April 23.
