Flashy city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdulahi claims “Russian Mafia” out to kill him

Flashy City lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has named two police officers attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) as persons baying for his blood.

In a statement he recorded with police at Kilimani Police Station on Tuesday, Abdulahi said that he has credible information that the two officers were on his trail on March 12.

He reported that on the night of March 12, the two officers were in a group of four who trailed him when he had dinner with his Tatu City client at the Villa Rosa Kempinski, Nairobi.

“I have reliably learnt from credible sources within the police service that, on that night (March 12), a car with four Criminal Investigations Department officers trailed me immediately I left the hotel on my way home,” he said as quoted by Daily Nation.

This was a turnaround for him as on April 3, he accused head of DCI, Ndegwa Muhoro, of attempting to kill him.

But in response to the allegation, Muhoro said Abdulahi feared for his life because he has swindled people their property.

Abdulahi on the other hand, maintained that the four officers were instructed by a powerful person but did not name anyone.

“Mr Muhoro is an integral part of a group of individuals who want to defraud properties from the beneficial owners, who are Tatu City,” noted the lawyer.

Later, he, Abdulahi said that Muhoro was out to kill him and blame it on “Russian Mafia”.

He now wants the Inspector general of Police Joseph Boinett to constitute an independent team without any DCI officers to investigate the matter.
