State House Senior Director for Innovation and Diaspora Communication Dennis Itumbi has denied claims that he was fired by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

A popular blog-Business Today on Monday had indicated that Itumbi and other PSCU staff had been kicked out of State House and were now working for Deputy President William Ruto at his office at Harambee Annex.

The Blog had said besides Itumbi, Head of Public Communication at the office of the President Munyori Buku, Director for Messaging, Eric Ng’eno, head of branding and events James Kinyua and Munira Mohammed had been shown the door.

In response, Itumbi told Nairobi News: “When you park your car in West Pokot and someone insists that you are in Mombasa, you don’t have to argue with them to try and convince them that you are in West Pokot.

Buku on his part said he will not respond to the claims because he is unaware about his leaving State House.

“I don’t read blogs because there are better things to do,” he scoffed.
