An OCS in Nakuru County has been arrested for threatening to kill his boss.
OCS Benard Ebuu Wanjala of Menengai Police Station, in Rongai sub-county was arrested by DCI officers after threatening to kill the divisional police commander, Mr Japheth Kioko.
Reports indicate Wanjala stormed Kioko’s office on Thursday in the middle of a meeting when he threatened him.
Deputy OCPD Sarah Chuma and another officer, David Chesaina were present when the OCS uttered the words.
In police reports, the Menengai OCS said as quoted by Daily Nation: “Sitakufa pekee yangu, mpaka nikufe na mtu (I will not die alone, I must die with somebody).
“Nitakuua kabla ya Friday (I will kill you before Friday),” he added.
An officer of superintendent rank confronted the OCS over his threats.
The OCPD reported the incident to Nakuru County Police Commander before the officer was apprehended.
